Your secret phrase is needed to log in to your account. If you lose your secret phrase, you will lose access to your account and to all associated data permanently.
Please remember that the Sylo team does not have access to your account or data, so we can’t recover your pin, secret phrase or account for you. This is why it’s crucially important to record your secret phrase and store it in a safe place.
To locate your secret phrase in your Sylo Smart Wallet, follow these steps:
- Go to the ‘Profile’ page by tapping on the icon which is at the bottom of the app’s main screen.
- Tap the ‘Protect your account’ button, then tap the orange ‘Show my Secret Phrase’ at the bottom of the screen.
- You’ll now be asked to confirm your PIN before seeing your secret phrase.
- You can now choose to copy your secret phrase to store elsewhere on your device, or to write it down manually and store in hard-copy. We advise that you go for the second option. Once you’ve written your secret phrase down on paper, make sure to keep it somewhere safe.
